When films have commercial adverts in them, ie, drinks adverts, the film is generally sponsored by the product, which is a source of revenue for the film makers. A good example is Blade Runner which had large graphic adverts, not quite subliminal advertising. My boyfriend makes it a point to spot advertising in films. Vietnam? Many films on the subject, but as a classic subject it probably is not exhausted.
