I like Roy Lichtenstein aswell but i feel the comment on saying that the galleries are big and ugly i feel is wrong. when i came into view of the Hayward it didn't look that appealing. But the architecture from the outside gives you no idea of the spaces inside and how they work. the galleries are big but i feel work very well, prehaps the art in them at the moment is helping. the space is strange as you follow around, with the grey stone working well with the wooden panels. the large wall areas are perfect for the bold, large pictures that Lichtenstein produced. Theres just something about the Hayward that i love, and i have yet to express it.
