Go and read Bharati Mukherjee's 'Jasmine'. You will get a better idea of why people immigrate and how they are exploited. I live in Cricklewood and every morning there is a parade of East Europeans waited to be picked up and taken to building sites. Who's exploiting who and who's getting the benefits. And what is an immigrant? Just because some us were born in this country does not give us the right to say this is our land and sod the rest of you. The rest of you are in the position they are owing to the way we have exploited them.
