For people who can afford to pay as much as possible for anything they desire then let them do so. But at the end of the day we all rent our material belongings so we can't take them with us. So why do people put so much time and money in collecting, only to have excess baggage for the time spent on this earth? Probably you will say investments, brings joy and selfworth. We can say it's greedy, selfish, captilist and pure status in being able to buy what you wish. If you think a Picasso is worth having for 104 million then that's okay but think of all the people in the world who are on the streets, poor, sick, hungry. Can you sleep at night?
