English seaside town which hasn't been totally ruined. Beach is stones leading to mud leading to tranquil brown water. Large number (three or more) of fish restaurants serving fresh fish cooked not very well, but at least you can eat the stuff from the sea rather than cornish pasties or full English breakfasts. Avoid crab and winkle restaurant, go to the self service place with the open kitchen instead (by the harbour). Taxis good, trains irregular on Sundays. Marine hotel is just about all right. Lots of boats and wooden beach huts and prettyish things like that. Relaxing.
