Review

This was an exhibition of sorts. We were asked to engage and inter-act with various props and respond to diagrams on the wall. Mike gave an introduction to acute care so we learnt how to resucitate a rubber torso called Annie. We also had to work out various acronyms and abbreviations. There were six of us, eager beavers. Tea and biscuits were brought at regular intervals. Patients walked around outside and were intrigued by the proceedings. One of the ladies came from the island of Lesbos, which was intriguing to learn about. We all came from different places, as you do. There was some talk of Poles and Bulgarians. They were unhappy with the new management at HQ. I suggested forming a union but can this be done in a private enterprise? An excellent, organised way to air grievances. We might meet again, some of us. On the boardwalk or further afield, united in the struggle for the betterment of man.
