Review

Yes she's quite good. They have a bit of Van Gogh in them and a sort of 50s figurative painting look, which all together seems refreshing and direct in these mannered days we live in. Her colours, an outline of blue, or a green patch, come out of the impressionist/post impressionist rulebook, yet why not, what does it matter if an artist paints someone in wobbly lines and funny colours, it seems the very least freedom they might exercise. http://www.aliceneel.com
