Now that two days have passed since watching it I don't feel as irritated with the film as I was, and am happy to say that the memory is much sweeter than the experience of watching the thing. I'm even tempted to see the first film now. But your gold cliché, come on! Maybe the great treasure you found was the setting summer sun on Delpy's hair in the boat scene (did you notice that the sun was inconsistent in that scene, how many times do you think they ferried that route)?
