When I arrived at Waterloo station, I was met with a scene of crowd stagnation. People could not enter the station as there was a fire alarm in prcoess. I took the next train, but the drama didn't end here. The ferry was 4 hours late, and stopped at Jersey first, rather than Guernsey, much to my advantage. The crossing was messy, as people kept vomiting. There was a lot of umming and erring. I admired the seascape, and gradually lost mobile contact with Vodafone. Such deliberations are an exellent cure to any form of aeroplane nervousness. Believe me, it won't happen again!
