Review

well, almost. It's an interesting story that doubles up as a review so I might as well tell you it: When I was 15 I developed an allergic reaction to 'Carry-on' films. I felt they were vile, vulgar, embarrasing, inexcusably sexist, racist and over the top. I came from the wrong generation. (I can hear Barbara Windsor shouting to me from our bedroom that the real reason I didn't like them is because I'm a snob...fair enough). So anyway...the mere thought of a Carry-On movie would make me vomit, cry, soil my pants, and hurl a barrage of extreme expletives at the nearest 'true-brit'. This situation became extremely difficult, as you can imagine. The only available cure at the time was the radical American method of 'unrelenting-over-exposure' (UOE). My legal guardian approved of this pioneering approach and so it was that I was forced to watch every single Carry-On movie, once a day, every day, for 6 years. The result of this treatment is two-fold. 1)All my prose sounds a bit like a script from a carry on movie. 2)I fell in love with, and married, the incredible Barbara Windsor. I hope this helps.
