I hear what you're saying about your sock experience and am glad cotton works for you. But I fail to understand how strengthening my calves would help (are you insulting my calves? did I mention I'm a cycle courier?). Sorry, I stick by my review - a bit of lycra never hurt anyone. 100% cotton is for babies.
