http://www.spectator.co.uk Bought it because of desperate lack of reading material for a long train journey.. Haven't seen it in years. It's not very clever. Full of short, unresearched uninformative, opinion pieces by people with silly names like Digby. Basic thesis of all writers: isn't Britain awful run by Labour, aren't poor vulgar people getting worse and more in our faces or the world is much worse now Tory rich people don't have all the power.
Well I don't mind this mindset: it's just the targets for this rightwing reaction are so kneejerk and obvious, and the arguments carelessly made and not even very provocative. Just a lot of moaning by those that feel threatened.
