They do remarkable things to eyes, yes. they move, because they're trompe l'oeil perspective painted on three dimensional concertina like contructions. Uglyish careful paintings of arches and landscapes. But they move a hell of a lot, and that must be worth something, a bit of life. The opening was full of unusual people, I noticed a lot of oldish men with younger glamorous oriental perhaps business women. Collectors of novelties, the women I mean.
It would be easy to dismiss these paintings, but they made me look at least.
