A good combo, architectural colourful abstraction, and super detailed cartooning in monochrome.

Downstairs Rehberger fills the gallery with a huge yellow box and puts some multicoloured perspex next door, some part of the installation was broken, but what was there was kind of ok.

Upstairs Noble has a mixed environment, with the best things being the big drawings which are very good partly because they combine a simple pencil drawing technique taken to handnumbing complexity, obsession transformed into art. The paper becomes silvery and beautiful and the world he creates, although a bit R Crumb and too full of penetrations(yawn), is diverting enough to complement the formal excitement of the large scale shapes. It's good also cause he throws in a video and an embroidered screen and a big egg, which although I though were less fascinating than the drawings stop the show from being samey.

The video of Noble and Rehberger talking takes inarticulacy to outstanding new levels, and I think shows that Noble does not extend Peter Singer's care for animals to homo sapiens.
