Do the names make the book, and therefore history? It seems like any art that had some kind of name gets in, no matter how minor. There is not much hierarchy, if it's got a brand then write a page or two about it. Still it's pretty useful to have a book to look up those labels that you can't quite put artists to. There are pictures and a few quotes too. Just when you thought postmodernity had made a nonsense of chronology and naming, along comes an enyclopaedia.
