Imagine Bill Viola, but actually beautiful. Australia meets Japan, the man is slender feminine, the woman butch big assed driver. She softens. Too much phoney bad English and teaching colloquialisms. Beautiful, yes. All through biblical references which resonate in the head afterwards, not the instant death in the mind of most movies. I wonder what a Japanese person would say about it. A woman as protagonist, a female director, only through equality will we get other viewpoints. Jesus, and Mary, and the other Mary, in the desert, and baptism got wrong. Get it on DVd or video if you must.
