Winter is falling. All around me I hear people grumbling about the cold, the grey rain and early nightfalls. I like winter. It's a cosy time of year. There is something comforting about wrapping up snugly but feeling the bitter cold bite your nose. Nighttime becomes magical and exciting in the city. I work in an enormous, indoor rabbit hutch with thousands of other office rabbits. At the end of the day, most of them scurry out into the night to head to their domestic hutches as quickly as possible. So afraid are they of the cold monster that they forget to pause to marvel at the trees shimmering in the night light or to feel the warmth generated by the buzz of the city. And if you're lucky enough to be near the sea, why not be seadaring and eat your fish and chips on the pebbly beach under the blanket of stars? Winter is good.
