Review

I thought that Tobias Rehberger's work was highly unique, full of colour and presented in a gallery highly unsuitable for the work. A huge yellow box whcih seemed to be suspended in the first room which looked amazing, and then seemed to get more interesting when i realised i could actually enter the box by a tiny ladder. The perspex frames were intersting, very visual, the colours were vibrant and fun. These exhibits seemed entirely unsuited to the boring whitechapel gallery. The gallery is very light with it's white walls and wooden floor boards it seemed slightly too normal for the likes of Tobias Rehberger. I think it would have been suited to a more modern and quirky gallery. Nice Exhibition though, very enjoyable, if anything too short. Paul Noble.... No comment.
