"Bruce Nauman is one of the most important artists of our time." It says that in the blurb, if you have to tell people.....

Bruce Nauman has recycled some old recordings, and plays 22 of them on parallel speakers in the big ol' hall. Couldn't he have done some new stuff. I am sure it's about identity, deconstrution, multi-layeredness, voices, sound as architecture and the usual junk to explain it. But, sorry to be philistine, it's not that interesting. Interesting meaning good. A cacocophany which is diverting like all noise. His many voices say nothing
