Wicklow County Council Arts Office Open Submission: Group Visual Arts Exhibition 2004
Wicklow County Buildings is the administrative home of Wicklow County Council. Based in Wicklow town, the County Buildings foyer provides an exhibition space for artistic and cultural exhibitions.
Wicklow County Council’s Visual Arts Group Exhibition, facilitated by Wicklow County Council Arts Office, aims to promote and encourage professional standards. The exhibition is open to all artists resident in Ireland. Submissions were invited in the categories of painting, print, sculpture, drawing, photography, new-media, multi-media and craft.
Lee Welch, one of the artist selected this year, will be exhibiting preliminary sketches based from ‘again & again’, an evolving portrait. The images are at the next stage of evolution. Simplistic in nature, they are made up of points and lines to create a head through a complex series of connections
Exhibition Dates: The Visual Arts Exhibition, 2004 will be held between Monday, 15th November and Friday, 10th December in Wicklow County Buildings, Station Road, Wicklow town.
