as an adolescent the questionable things you might do are largely the result of what is available to you when you are 'testing you boundaries'(not that this in any way disappears with your spots). as said, kids do things because they can, so the responsibility is surely to have some concience over what is available i.e. mail-order guns, ammo in supermarkets and bullshit security on credit cards. i read the quietness of the film as a metaphor for a distracted moral stupor.
