Review

I like this review. Not least because it has the ability to make me shudder and think why i have avoided going to any such gatherings of old school friends in the past. Though in not such grandiose settings, there is an annual Founders Day reunion at my secondary school - which the newsletter still diligently tells my mother about, my mother in turn asking me if I want to attend and always the answer is no. It may be an interesting social experiment, in my case the besuited gents would be replaced by mothers with entourage of kidies and nanny I'm sure. Puzzled by the fact that i was not rich, with kids, with house with proper job, or any of the above? Perhaps like in Remi's review, one would be overwhelmed by the friendliness and the commonality of being in a singular group, united by the fact that we had all shared the same uniform years before. Having been an outsider at school, I wouldn't want to test this theory, to be disappointed that I never belonged, but somehow slightly smirking that I am glad that I never did, or never will.
