Great show. I mean it. There is something outstanding and personal about Frank's work, especially his films. They seem formless but they have a clear visual and emotional power. His photos might seem rather typical documentary, but with more time I think I might discern the same intelligence as in his films.

The Tate is incapable of showing paintings well, but does an excellent job with photgraphy and its offshoots.
