Rat leaving sinking ship. Insurgents! Who do news parrot ths euphemism for army/soldiers/freedom fighters.. There is civil war, or a war of liberation going on in Iraq, its not an insurgency which sounds like some Vietnam era doublespeak for a minor irritation to be quelled by the kind US friends of Iraq/occupiers. 2000 insurgents eliminated with the cost of 10s of US marines. 2000 people dead, about WTC numbers. But don't worry it's just an insurgency.
Insurgent according to Oxford Dictionary means rebel.
