Selected and organised by Hockney, celebrated celebrator of life, this book is a little like a visiting artist’s lecture. The book is organised according to subject, so it is somehow quite easy and refreshing to look through. E.g. section on water. Its good to look through a whole bunch of work, to see how things have changed as the years go by – or not.
