Okish glossy art magazine, not as boring as contemporary, art monthly, frieze, flash art, modern painters (thought matthew collings diary used to be ok before the style got on my nerves) etc. Most of the art magazines publish reviews and features that the author can probably barely manage to get through, they are full of descriptions, references, and little or no new information, judgement, opinion, or anything remotely interesting to a live human being. Art review is more zappy, with many colur pictures and big headlines like art's power 100, and photos of pvs, like the Sunday times magazine but all about art. As everyone knows most people like to flick through the ads of art magazines to see whos showing where and if anyone they know is reviewed. I would be excited to know if anyone (besides worthy superkeen art students/lecturers and boneheads) ever reads an art magazine in bed for pleasure.
