The half hour starts with images of Walk looking intelligent and listening. One of the world's great historians is interviewed by one of the world's most stupid presenters of hintellectual shows. Sample question: Do neocons politics influence their interpretation of history? I've rephrased it more intelligently than it was put. Wark can barely manage to construct an actual question let alone anything more challenging, all that comes out is some garbled phrases from newspapers. To his credit Hobsbawm responded with humour and insight to kind interpretations of what Wark might have been trying to ask.
