Review

This seemingly disparate types of living arrangements are surprisingly closely linked, as I have discovered working in both areas. People in nursing homes stay in their bedrooms most of the day only coming out for mealtimes, as do students. Although, living quarters are conjoined to one another, the residents lead very separate, un-familiar lives. There is a very peaceful, if somewaht subdued, atmosphere around both types of residences, only interrupted by transitory complaints about existence and late-night noise-making. There is no fighting. The subject of sex is at times blatantly but unrealisitically spelt out by an in-mate, but otherwise is usually passed over and sublimated. Students may look towards the goal of vacating their hall of residence, but at the end of it all they will end up in a nursing home of some sort. Such is the cycle of life.
