good genre busting fun. What dynamism comes from Asian film makers. Yet with the beauty and unrealness that can be generated digitally, there is little of the emotional hold that old sports movies could generate.. think Rocky, escape to victory, etc. The freedom generated by computers, and cultural crossovers, and a lack of fear, also seems to preclude wholeness in movies, which seems to have died at the end of the cruel 80s.
Still, worth seeing, if not believing.
