Christmas in hospital isn't all that bad. As if by miracle, a lot of people rapidly improve in the build-up to the big event. I've always maintained that partying is good for you. Half a ward isn't too much to cope with. Just as many staff and helpers. The patients feel better as they have a present guaranteed from the States of Jersey, and a few visitors to boot. Was able to catch a few programmes on the box, including the Queen's speech and Harry Potty. When you put that next to the midnight mass I attended (in 5 languages), Christmas was fairly to the point with me.
