Still need categories for eating out, shopping and newspapers/magazines.
As if shopping before Christmas was not enough to kill you, shopping after Christms will put you out of your misery. Lots of folks trundling about with bigger and bigger bags, because the shop-keepers had tricked them into scooping stuff out of their stores. I went one lower than them, and looked in a bargain store where there is no semblance of a relationship between buyer and seller. Is that why they are such depressing places? Some people say the clientele are the depressants but then a number of bars and clubs would have the same effect, which ,of course, they don't. Looked at the crappy items of clothing, coaxing my subconscious into agreeing that buying something that is big and gauche will do me some sort of a favour. Didn't manage to oppress my subconscious enough, so left the dimly-lit environs and waiting to chance upon another house of sin.
