The basis of this body of drawings comes from a complex 3-D generated series of images, which map all the intimacies and points of Welch’s face, which he then transcribes as these beautifully executed drawings. These graceful, geometric suspended landscapes exist on the page as testaments to the pervading interrogation of self and belonging that exist in today’s society.
