Review

In case you don't already know, megabus is a company of buses that make coach-like journeys from one town or city to another. Trips start at £1, each way, with a supplementary 50p booking fee, which applies to one transaction. You can only book and buy online, and not on-board. It seems strange that the bus driver can not sell you a ticket, even if he knows that there are many free spaces. Is this because of some archaic law, like deer quotas? Still interested? Be aware that the buses are double-deckers. The buses used for long hauls have a toilet installed. There is no area for luggage, which is just put on a seat or tow. I wonder what happens when there's lots of luggage. It's uncomfortable but it's cheep and generally cheerful. On Saturday I woke up someone in front of me with my extra-big Daily Telegraph. I had been feeling pretty big and clever until that point. Give it a shot, and don't leave it too late as the prices go up the longer you wait. It's the law of physicks.
