The mysterious parasite that attached itself to me sometime last year is now causing a few minor problems. Rather like a tic one is advised to wait for this creature to fatten and fall off when it is ready. Given the circumstances this is the route that I chose to take. Consequently slight anaemia has now become a minor concern therefore I have been prescribed two iron tablets daily. There is little to say about iron tablets, they have a pleasant sugar coat, and must not be taken on an empty stomach, as this they can up set. They have no obvious effect but one must appreciate the power of what is unseen. I am beginning to suspect the parasite of being responsible for my current dry skin condition and have not as yet found a suitable remedy. I fear also for my teeth and in anticipation of tooth decay prompted by shared calcium stocks I have resorted to a larger in take of dairy products. However the list gets longer as I realise vitamin D is necessary for calcium intake and given the existing weather conditions, plus the scarcity of the vitamin in foodstuffs I am concerned for both my self and my parasite.
