First they're great to look at.

Other points:

1: They're not very many paintings and lots of people looking at them. This is a good thing.

2: The galleries are very dark, so all the viewers are seen in chiaroscuro, which is funny.

3: The flagellation of Christ is a highlight of the show.

4: In some of the big paintings the darkness, darker than many churches where they were first shown, combined with the lights, makes the pictures reflect badly.

5:They get all abstract when there is little light in the picture and few bits lit up.

6: These are beautiful paintings.
