Reader: Click. Dial Tone. hang up on the script style formatting of this book. Helloooo..Sfx, and cut tos etc are annoying after about 5 secs.

This is a vert short, readable, entertaining book about being a TV writer. It's pleasing in the way a well written sit-com is. But also has the anodyne genericness of the less good ones, all the characters (agents, producers) bought at the big bargain store of Hollywood cliches. Perhaps they're really like that, but a better book would show more detailed truth. Might be a product of it's tricky mix of autobiography and fiction, leaving in the slightly dull middle. Purchased at a book warehouse bargain book store, the world of the remaindered is where all the fun is.
