Review

Self-conscious sort of true-life story, read it v. fast, so must be edible legible readable. Gets bogged down after about 150 pages, as author acknowledges in forward. If you admit it, who can criticise you. My mom once said I looked like eggers. Problem is for all the witty voice of the neurotic's thoughts, you never get an idea of what he is really like, nor his little brother, or anyone else. Surface description, accurate about tv shows and soft furnishings and food, is not capable of capturing life. In our post-pope world you Might think that all we have is brands and references, and thinking, but underneath is stinking old being. Take it to the beach. Makes san fran sound fun.
