Strongly recommend, to those who have a spare seven (yes seven) hours - you can get it from the Film Shop, Stoke Newington on video. Mostly comprised of a set of tableaux vivants laid out on vast stage or sound stage, used as a discussion of Hitler as a philosophical/cinematic/cultural problem. I knew from having read a Sontag essay on it years ago that it was probably going to be about as far from biopic as imaginable. Therefore, thought I'd like to see it before going to Downfall, to which I still haven't made it. (Surprised no one's reviewed the latter here yet.) Utterly interesting.
