Point one: without brown and blair's support the war would have happened anyway, and might have been worse.
Point two: it's a strange outcome, but Iraq, caveats noted, is better off without Saddam Hussein murdering innocent civilians. A bad action can yield a preferable result.
Point three: the Lib dems policies are all contingent on them never being elected. Some of their ideas might be nice, but noone would actually want to pay the taxes to fund them, and which of their talentless troop of nobodies would run the departments delivering them.
