Review

For anyone who's managed to miss it, young handsome man shows up in soaking wet black suit and tie on Isle of Sheppey and refuses to communicate in any way until he is given a piece of paper and a pencil on which he draws a rather beautiful picture of a piano. He is taken to a piano, his evident agitation subsides and he plays beautifully for several hours. Now continually walks around with sheet music in a plastic folder, still not speaking. This is apparently not a story by Paul Auster or a Calvin Klein cologne ad but reality. I don't believe it for a moment, but if it really is reality, this reviewer gives reality one star for this sentimental, self-consciously arty, ultimately clichéd feature film pitch.
