Being in a quiz gives me the opportunity to read the summaries of Shakespeare plays that I might never have done. Found out that a lot of people die at the end of Hamlet. Read Hemingway saying cowardice is having too much imagination. That makes me feel kind of special. It's good to read what you're interested in, like all the letters people write about the origins of words and what means what. But then you need to access info without thinking. Won't they use up all quiz questions?
