Indeed.
Something that the Tanzanian minister for the environment been saying today is that it's useless to be thinking of tackling poverty in Africa via debt relief without doing something about climate change first - a major reason for the agricultural instability that directly affects many African producers.
Another annoying thing about Live8 publicity is that they are using the slogan 'make poverty history', but I haven't heard Sir Bob acknowledge that poverty isn't exclusively an African problem.
