Gruesome entertainment. Can Nigella Lawson, daughter of the Chancellor of the Exchequer, wife of C. Saatchi, sister of Dominic the newspaper man, present a daytime tv chat show? No.
Sadly the British class system is too dominant to allow us to believe in Nigella, bright red cardigan over 1950s housewife dress, as anything more than a ghastly ironic mistake in her impersonation of Gloria Hunnyford.
Her language, mannerisms, questions, facial expression, make this the most fascinating tv program in months. Catch it before it's cancelled.
