Feels like we're living in a turn of the century novel, with the empire collapsing under the weight of itself, and a motley collection of malocontents blowing things and people up all over the place. History repeats itself as farce. Bombs repeat themselves as squibs. Can panic be created by the wretched disruption of our routines. Will Capitalism suddenly suffer a nervous breakdown and disappear like Communism? There is a tipping point and we may be reaching it.
