Jem the Welsh DJ turned solo artist whose album ‘Finally Woken’ has has been rumbling around the western world.
You could class Jem as the new Dido with beats. Her first single ‘They’ awoke me with a intriguing promo video where she become naked in space. But the second single just sends me back to sleep. ‘Just a Ride’ or miss heard as ‘Just a Wide’ is bland fem pop. Limp, wet and just a touch of ‘So blue’ by the Lighthouse family or ‘Hunter’ by Dido. If you drive a Micra and work in tel-sales then this musics for you.
I doesn’t end there her new single ‘Wish I’ is cruising off into elevator music. You will probably hear it on an advert in the near distant future.
It’s popular music and she’s making a living out of it. Hats off to her but have some edge!
