Review

It's entered a high mannerist phase of overelaborate animation, too polished drawing, glib, sneery self awareness and crude jokes and is now almost completely hateful. The writers are now apparently too arrogant to pay any attention to the world around them, so the satire content has dropped almost to nil, resulting in dismall stupidity like the London episode where the characters encounter nothing but a catalogue of thickheaded American assumptions about England and the opportunity is missed to have Homer stumbling around Dalston or somewhere similar, realising it's not quaint at all.
