My week's work here at the office I'm now sitting in has suddenly been cancelled. The client's going to do the work themselves to save money. This will give me a chance to do something artistic for a short while, which will probably not pay. It's not easy to make some Manichean value judgement about this, but, although I've basically been cheated, I give this situation four out of five stars.
