I like films with self-explanatory titles. You know the plot, just sit back and laugh your head off. Starring Steve Carell, who plays the Ricky Gervais character in the American version of the office, I look forward to the British remake of this film. Other nice simple plot motifs are that our innocent hero collects action figures, his girlfriend runs a business selling stuff on ebay for people, wonder what will happen next?

yes, you can avoid your friends and partners asking you irritating questions about the story with new improved Hollywood movies. They have descended to the equivalent of a reading age of 3/4. The cat sat on the mat, the virgin must have sex.

Gripes about the absymal low level of imagination and narrative and technique aside, this is a moderately funny piece filled with our favourite stereotypes, fast-talking semi-improvised buddy-man-talk, and some nice sentimental lesson all round. For the moral minority I am sure it is a risque De-Sadeian pornographic filth-fest. It is in fact less liberated than teen films of the 1980s.
