Review

For a bit of fun, and to flatter my girlfriend's sense of nationhood, I changed my mobile phone to the French language option. I thought that it would merely offer the same features but in a different language. However, much to my surprise, a wider variety of things were now available. For example, when I now send a text to someone, I instantly receive a reply confirming that I have done so. This is curiously conveyed to me with the word 'Accused', though I hasten to add that this is a literal translation. There are a few other titbits that give me the feeling that I've upgraded my phone, even though I must wait another three months before I can do so by the books. Perhaps this change of modality also shows the inherent incompatibility of French and English sound systems. Unto the breach, my friends; oh la la!
