Lots of very bright screens in the dark.. Upstairs a tv showroom gone Madonna manic. Downstairs she edits down movie stars and sequences them as though in conversation, putting the mothers in one room and the fathers in another. It is slick and somewhat entertaining, but says nothing I could hear about much.
The Madonna piece is better. Ordinaty folk? singing Madonna's greatest hits, but they are separated, each one prancing and emoting stuck in their own tv set, together only in the gallery their chorus is compelling. What it means? Something.
